MISSION STATEMENT
Mollycoddle Productions, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that was developed to assist the many underrepresented Artists of Orange County, California in their educational pursuit of a career in the Entertainment Industry.*
Each year the Writers, Directors and Screen Actors Guilds release the statistics on "Hollywood's Hiring Practices" to bring about awareness. These statistics repeatedly reveal that women and minorities are not given the same level of opportunities or pay.
According to the Directors Guild of America, in 2004 " 85% of all television Directing opportunities were given to Caucasian males."
Women In Film recently reported, "Of the top 250 films made in 2004, 95% did not hire a female Director to helm their productions; 97% had no female Cinematographers; 87% had no female Writers; 80% had no female Editors."
Women In Film also reports "40% of all top rated shows have NEVER hired a woman or a person of color in a Directing capacity."

We provide affordable "hands on" training seminars in Acting, Screenwriting and Independent Filmmaking.
We believe by teaching the technical skills required, for a career in the Entertainment Industry, we empower our participants to create their own opportunities.
We aim to help all participants to understand what's required to succeed in the Entertainment Field. We strongly advise and teach a strategic plan of action so each individual can build a strong foundation for success.
Our goal is to create a diverse group of strong independent filmmakers especially in the area of family oriented programming.
Artists and individuals who desire to obtain a solid foundation of the film industry can take one or all of the seminars. Our professional mentors are also available for those preparing for admission into film school.
Mollycoddle Productions provides an AWESOME opportunity for professionals in the Entertainment Industry to give back to our youth and other underrepresented Artists struggling to succeed in the business. We provide a great way for Artists to build relationships with others working toward the same goal. Networking is critical to each participant's success.
